Terribile lack of customer service from Deichmann UK. I bought pair of shoes from the store and wanted to return them, however shop is closed now as it was put in Tier 4, shortly after I bought them. Since 23 of December, I sent two emails which havent been replied, I made endless calls but I was never able to speak to anyone- their phone line is either switched off or "busy.

Shocking, absolutely shocking! I ordered three pairs of shoes for my daughter during lockdown as she needed new trainers. Not being able to go and try them on in a shop we found one pair fit and two were returned. This is where the trouble started. I returned via collect+, never received an email confirming that Deichmann had received it. So I called and spoke to Donna Capell who assured me they received the return after I gave her the tracking number. She also said she would fast track the refund which apparently they allow themselves 14 days. This was a month ago! I am still waiting. I have repeatedly tried to contact them via phone, email and contact form on their website and had either no reply or she is now asking me to give her the tracking number again and again. After I spoke to her initially, I must have thrown the number away trusting they will honour their own terms and conditions. How wrong I was! I have opened a dispute with PayPal which I used to pay for the order and am hoping they have more luck. My advice: Stay away from them! Being German myself I am absolutely disgusted and embarrassed by how they behave!Edit: I did receive the refund but what a hassle. I do not recognise my opening a dispute with PayPal as a valid argument for the delay as I opened the dispute after 14 days (which in itself is an exaggerated amount of time (look at the competition, people!!!)) In any case, I am disappointed in the organisation and behaviour by a German company as you do represent my country’s values and standards in the UK to British customers and this is simply not good enough!

Shocking! Steer clear!

WAS WITH MY WIFE WHO COULD ONLY FIND 1 TRAINER SHE ASKED PATRICIA FOR HELP THIS LADY WENT TO THE STORES AND COME BACK WITH THE OTHER TRAINER MY WIFE WAS VERY HAPPY SERVICE WAS GREAT THIS IS WHY 5 STARS

Bought Riekers shoes for my granny

Bought Riekers shoes for my granny, everythings all right, goods came in perfect condition, fits well, really comfy. Delivery was on time and courrier was very nice :)

Brought shoes from the store and was…

Brought shoes from the store and was told I can return the item to store if not suitable. The shoes didn't fit my son, went to the store and it was closed.Emailed customer service and no response... its been over one week! Poor service.

Have placed a Christmas order on…

Have placed a Christmas order on Saturday evening and have not received any confirmation. Have rang them a number of times and no answer. Have sent a message on the site, no answer and emailed them yesterday (21.12.20) and again today and I'm still waiting for someone to reply to my messages or emails. Not very good customer service and still have no idea on my order

BE AWARE!

BE AWARE! Just placed my order and qualified for FREE delivery by Hermes It’s been almost 24hrs and Deichmann have refunded me for one time and charged £1.99 for delivery There has been no email to explain this just a confirmation for one item not two which I had originally ordered!!!I would not recommend very poor customer service with conning tacticsAlso tried ringing but never answer!

Lovely service

I just purchased a pair of shoes from here and the shoes are a little bit comprised, the staff here MARTA has been very lovely and supportive. She went to the back to check if there are any and she successfully found them. I am very pleased by her service and I hope she gets promoted. Store in question deichmann East Ham

Irvine Scotland branch

Shopped at the Irvine in Scotland branch yesterday I only dealt with one member of staff she was really really helpful ended up buying two pairs of shoes and two pairs of boots I have slim feet so it’s hard to get shoes to fit properly they all fitted perfectly will only shop here now for shoes great wee store and good customer service

Deichmann online is fine

Delivered quickly and the shoes came out perfect and true size my only problem was I was trying to put my promotional code but it wasn't letting me other then that it was fine.

Disgusting customer service

Disgusting customer service. I originally tried to buy a pair of trainers in store but didnt have the size so they then sent me a pair out to which they sent the wrong size. I then go back to change them AGAIN and they had to send them via post again as they didnt have them in store. They then send me the complete wrong trainer and when I phoned up to complain I'm basically told if I want to order my original trainers then I have to make my way back to the store. The store is half an hour at least from my house so that's not happening for the 3rd time. Think I will stick to j.d from now on. I certainly will not be shopping with diechman again!
